HOOFDDORP, The Netherlands, Aug. 06, 2024 — EZVIZ, a global leader in smart home technology, has received the 2024 Sustainability Award for its EZVIZ Green initiative. This initiative underscores EZVIZ’s commitment to developing eco-friendly consumer technologies and raising awareness through a tree-planting project, the EZVIZ Global Forest Plan. This project uses proceeds from the sale of green products to cultivate locally beneficial tree species around the world.

The Sustainability Awards, presented by the Business Intelligence Group, are an annual program recognizing organizations, products, people, and initiatives across industries that have prioritized sustainability. EZVIZ Green is among the top 20 projects recognized as “Initiatives of the Year.”

“EZVIZ Green envisions a future-oriented, smart lifestyle while taking concrete action,” said Wade Wang, EZVIZ’s branding director. “Our core mission is to create an easy, smart home that evolves with sustainability. Through our products and projects, we are not only promoting this value within EZVIZ but also engaging partners and users to make a broader impact.”

Driven by innovation, EZVIZ has integrated solar energy into its renowned home security solutions. The company now offers a wide range of battery-powered outdoor cameras and video doorbells that utilize compatible solar panels, reducing dependence on traditional power sources while ensuring long-lasting performance. Their latest 4K solar camera series even features built-in solar panels to minimize installation waste and additional equipment.

Significantly, EZVIZ has introduced a smart cleaning robot family that incorporates recycled plastics in their back plates. The RE4 Plus robot vacuum was nominated for the European Green Awards for its effective design to reduce disposable waste.

“EZVIZ Green strives to create a sustainable cycle between products, people, and the planet through a holistic approach,” said Wang. Between 2023 and 2024, EZVIZ financed the planting of 1,460 trees in 10 countries, which are expected to absorb approximately 245.20 t of CO₂ during the trees’ first ten years of life.
