EZVIZ Green, a driving force behind EZVIZ’s commitment to sustainability, promotes both internal change and public awareness, using technology to create a better future for all.
HOOFDDORP, The Netherlands, Aug. 06, 2024 — EZVIZ, a global leader in smart home technology, is recognized for its dedication to environmental protection by winning the 2024 Sustainability Award. The award acknowledges EZVIZ Green, an initiative that merges the development of eco-friendly consumer technologies with awareness campaigns, including the EZVIZ Global Forest Plan. This plan uses proceeds from green products to support the continuous growth of locally beneficial trees around the world.
The Sustainability Awards, presented by the Business Intelligence Group, annually celebrate organizations, products, individuals, and initiatives across industries that prioritize sustainability in their core operations. EZVIZ Green is among the top 20 projects recognized as “Initiatives of the Year.”
“EZVIZ Green represents a future-oriented, smart lifestyle while taking concrete actions to make a positive impact,” said Wade Wang, EZVIZ’s branding director. “At its heart lies our vision of an easy smart home that evolves sustainably. Through our products and projects, we’re not only promoting this initiative within EZVIZ but also engaging partners and users to create a larger impact.”
Driven by innovation, EZVIZ has incorporated solar energy into its renowned home security solutions. The company now offers a wide range of battery-powered outdoor cameras and video doorbells that utilize compatible solar panels, reducing reliance on traditional power sources while ensuring long-lasting performance. Its latest 4K solar camera series even features integrated solar panels to minimize installation waste and the need for additional equipment.
Significantly, EZVIZ has introduced a smart cleaning robot family that utilizes recycled plastics in their back plates. The RE4 Plus robot vacuum was nominated for the European Green Awards due to its effective design that reduces disposable waste.
“EZVIZ Green is about creating a healthy cycle among products, people, and the planet through a comprehensive approach,” said Wang. From 2023 to 2024, EZVIZ has funded the planting of 1,460 trees in 10 countries, which are projected to absorb approximately 245.20 t of CO₂ during the trees’ initial ten years of life.
