The T1, a light off-road SUV, immediately impressed drivers with its refined performance, featuring a powerful 2.0T engine coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Its powertrain delivered smooth and linear acceleration on city roads, easily managing frequent stops and starts. The T1 also maintained stable driving, even at higher speeds, making highway cruising equally impressive.

The XWD intelligent four-wheel drive system was a highlight. During the cross-axle test, the XWD system showed its ability to quickly redistribute power to the wheels with the most traction, ensuring a smooth escape from difficult situations. The vehicle’s reinforced chassis and advanced suspension system minimized body roll on steep side slopes, providing drivers and passengers with a high level of security, even at extreme angles.

According to a JETOUR test drive coach, “The XWD system has been tested and proven by more than 200,000 users globally. The system’s ‘X Mode’ simplifies driving, even for beginners, by automatically adapting to road conditions in milliseconds.” The T1 also includes seven driving modes, such as Sport, Snow, and Sand, for drivers who want more control over the vehicle’s performance.

JETOUR T2 i-DM: Combining Efficiency and Power

The T2 i-DM combines rugged design with eco-friendly efficiency. It features a fifth-generation 1.5TGDI hybrid engine with a 44.5% thermal efficiency, paired with a 3-speed DHT for consistent power delivery in all driving conditions.

The T2 i-DM’s electric motor ensures quiet starts, similar to a pure electric vehicle. As speed increases, the engine seamlessly engages, highlighting the vehicle’s off-road DNA. The T2 i-DM demonstrated agile handling and precise steering during the S-curve test, with minimal body roll even during high-speed maneuvers.

The hybrid powertrain and advanced hill descent control system worked together during the 10-meter-high seesaw and steep incline challenges. The engine and electric motor combined to provide strong traction as the vehicle ascended, while the intelligent braking system managed the descent, eliminating the need for driver input. The electronic suspension further enhanced the experience by absorbing shocks and maintaining stability on uneven surfaces.

Sneak Peek: G700’s Autonomous Parking and Other Features

Although the G700 premium all-terrain SUV was not available for test drives, its autonomous parking capabilities were demonstrated. The G700, equipped with 12 ultrasonic sensors and four 360° cameras, effortlessly navigated tight parking spaces without driver assistance, addressing a common concern for urban drivers.

The global debut of the G700 is scheduled for September in the UAE, generating significant anticipation. Its combination of luxury, intelligence, and off-road capabilities makes it a potential leader in the premium SUV segment.
