S&P Global, one of the Big Three credit rating agencies, has a history spanning over a century and plays a pivotal role in the global financial infrastructure. Annually, S&P Global releases the Sustainability Yearbook, recognizing outstanding enterprises across various industries for their commitment to sustainable development. The criteria for inclusion in the yearbook are based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) scores from the previous year. The CSA encompasses 62 industry-specific sustainability assessment standards, evaluating and scoring companies’ information disclosure and performance across various aspects, including the environment, society, governance, and the economy.

Only companies that rank within the top 15% in the S&P Global CSA scores and are among the top 30% in their respective industries are included in the yearbook. This year marks the 20th consecutive year of publication for the S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook. In 2024, over 1,700 Chinese companies participated in the evaluation, with 129 companies, including renowned enterprises like Tencent, Baidu, JD.com, Xiaomi, and Kingdee, being selected for inclusion in the yearbook.
