MACAU, June 27, 2024 — Melco Resorts & Entertainment has been recognized with the prestigious 2024 BEST Award from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). This award, the most demanding and sought-after in the talent development industry, is given globally to organizations that demonstrate widespread success in talent development. The award acknowledges Melco’s “Whole Person Development” philosophy, a comprehensive system for development and growth.

This is the third ATD award Melco has received. Last year, the Company’s “Foundation Acceleration Program” (“FAP”) was named winner of ATD’s Excellence in Practice Award in the Career Development category. In 2022, its training program “Morpheus Moments – Whatever It Takes, Whenever, However” won the Customer Service Training category.

Melco’s “Whole Person Development” strategy outlines the processes and programs integrated into the career opportunity journey. It goes beyond classroom training, creating systems for holistic and versatile career paths.

In 2009, Melco established Macau’s first in-house Learning Academy. One of their pioneering initiatives was the “Back to School” program, offering in-house high school diplomas. In 2023, Learning Academy provided nearly 418,000 seats for over 1,300 training courses.
