NANJING, China, May 19, 2025 — The Second SINOMA Cement Green & Intelligent Summit took place in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, on May 17.

Centered on the theme “Green Intelligence Empowers Cooperation,” the summit drew over 400 delegates from 34 nations. Attendees engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding environmentally friendly, low-carbon advancements, digital design, and smart management practices.

Participants collectively presented the practical outcomes of cutting-edge technologies and explored avenues for international collaboration within the cement sector, striving to foster a sustainable, technologically advanced, and aesthetically pleasing future.

The General Manager of China National Building Materials Group (CNBM) stated in his address that the group will continue to uphold its principle of “Better Materials Better World,” providing the industry and its customers with top-tier, innovative solutions. The aim is to establish this prominent conference as a recurring forum for global cement enterprises to connect and share insights.

He expressed his hope for CNBM to collaborate with both domestic and international partners to initiate a new era of environmentally conscious, low-emission, digitally driven, and intelligently designed advancements within the global cement industry.

South African Ambassador to China, Siyabonga Cyprian Cwele, delivered a speech at the conference, noting that SINOMA International Engineering Co., Ltd. He emphasized the company’s specialized skills and outstanding service. Furthermore, he encouraged international businesses in the building materials sector to invest and expand in South Africa.

Ethiopian Ambassador to China, Tefera Derbew Yimam, shared details about the features and initiatives of Ethiopia’s cement industry and its commitment to green development in his address.

He acknowledged SINOMA International’s contributions to Ethiopia’s cement industry through its involvement in large-scale cement projects, which have boosted local cement production and generated numerous employment opportunities. He extended an invitation to all interested companies to invest in Ethiopia’s cement sector.

Chairman of SINOMA International, Yin Zhisong, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the organizing committee at the conference’s opening ceremony. He shared his perspectives on SINOMA International’s fulfillment of its commitments since the inaugural summit.
