DALLAS, July 22, 2024 — Recently, TORRAS invited Alice Dearing, the first Black female swimmer in British Olympic history, to attend a Dallas Mavericks game.

TORRAS, with its new brand manifesto “Be Here Now,” is dedicated to inspiring consumers to pursue excellence and become their best selves. The brand believes that “the present is everything,” encouraging people to break free from conventions and embrace each moment.

Alice Dearing embodies this belief, representing individuals who pursue dreams and achieve goals, aligning perfectly with TORRAS’s manifesto. Dearing has broken barriers in swimming, defying external questioning and denial.

At the event, Dearing said, “Breaking societal laws is how change happens. TORRAS and I are working to do this in our own ways, and it’s exciting to see people being innovative and getting more people trying new things.”

TORRAS was eager to collaborate with Dearing, who accepted the invitation and flew from London to Dallas for the game. Her presence added excitement to the event.

Dearing praised TORRAS’s efforts in breaking social biases. TORRAS donated 50% of its official website’s revenue during the event to sports public welfare, supporting the development of the sports industry.
