These events aim to enhance international cooperation in culture, arts, education, healthcare, sports, and tourism among Maritime Silk Road cities. Wenzhou’s commitment to open development includes partnerships with Nanyang Technological University and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, infrastructure improvements creating a national transportation hub and regional shipping center, and fostering relationships with 30 sister cities, earning the “International Friendship City Award for Outstanding Contribution.”

The conference will feature roundtable discussions on urban development and release a consensus on cultural exchange and cooperation, promoting the Silk Road spirit. Wenzhou aims to leverage the conference to foster stronger ties with other Maritime Silk Road cities for mutual benefit and a shared prosperous future.
