The  camera utilizes a high-bandwidth PCIe interface for real-time data transfer, which is essential for demanding applications. The Sony IMX811 sensor captures exceptional detail and sensitivity, making it suitable for surface inspection, texture analysis, and city mapping.

• Ultra-High Resolution: The MX2457 models feature an impressive 245.7 MPix resolution, with 19,200 x 12,800 effective pixels. This provides detailed and precise imaging, which is crucial for applications like Outdoor 3D mapping and Videogrammetry.
• Backside Illumination Technology: Compared to typical Frontside illumination sensors, the BSI versions can achieve significantly higher quantum efficiency (over 80%), resulting in improved image quality, even in low-light conditions.

• Detached Sensor Head: The camera’s unique detachable sensor head provides flexible integration and reduces noise by minimizing heat on the sensor side. This design enhances image quality and enables deployment in environments with limited space.
• Extra Cooling: The standard heat dissipation option includes a fan module attached to the back of the camera. For further heat reduction and vibration elimination, a water (liquid) cooling module can be added.
• Lens Mounting: A variety of passive and active lens mounts are planned, starting with a mechanical M72 mount and an active EF-mount. Active Hasselblad mounts will offer remote control of aperture, focus, and image stabilization.
