XING Mobility Displays Advanced Immersion-Cooled Energy Storage at All-Energy 2025
Ultra-Safe, High-Power System Unlocks New Potential for the UK Energy Storage Market
GLASGOW, United Kingdom, May 15, 2025 — Following its successful launch at EES Europe in Germany, Taiwanese battery technology company XING Mobility is showcasing its latest immersion-cooled energy storage systems at All-Energy 2025, held at SEC Glasgow, Booth P59. The system offers up to four times the discharge power and an industry-leading safety design, making it well-suited to meet the UK’s increasing demand for scalable, high-performance energy storage for both on-grid and off-grid use.
XING Mobility Showcases Advanced Immersion-Cooled Energy Storage Cabinet at All-Energy 2025
Designed for Power, Engineered for Safety
The new XBE1000 cabinet from XING Mobility uses the company’s proprietary IMMERSIO™ immersion cooling battery system. It provides flexible energy capacity, ranging from 200 to 1000 kWh, and allows for both standalone and parallel cabinet configurations. Its 2P (double-rated) discharge capability enables up to four times the power of standard air-cooled systems, making it ideal for applications like renewable energy integration, EV fast-charging, and backup power for AI data centers.
IMMERSIO™ technology fully immerses the battery cells in a dielectric coolant, which greatly enhances thermal management and operational stability. Field tests have shown that the system can suppress thermal runaway, reducing internal temperatures by more than 1,000°C in under 15 seconds. This reduces the risk of fire and propagation while also extending battery lifespan by up to two times.

Nordic Deployment Proof Points: Mobility and Versatility
XING Mobility will also display a real-world application at All-Energy 2025: the Hummingbird® high-power mobile charger developed by Norwegian energy provider Nordic Booster. The Hummingbird, powered by XING’s immersion-cooled modules, delivers 300kW of mobile fast-charging, providing a compact and reliable solution for temporary or remote energy needs. Compared to conventional LFP batteries, which are limited to 0.5C discharge, IMMERSIO™ offers significantly higher power density and thermal resilience.
The company is also highlighting its 2.4MWh immersion-cooled ESS installed at Taiwan Power Company’s offshore Changbin wind farm—the world’s first deployment of immersion-cooled batteries in a wind energy application—demonstrating commercial viability and safety in large-scale energy storage.
Supporting the UK’s Net-Zero Mission
As the UK works to accelerate its transition to a net-zero energy future through the expansion of wind, solar, and hydrogen energy infrastructure, high-performance, safe, and flexible battery systems are becoming increasingly important. XING Mobility’s participation in All-Energy 2025 is intended to strengthen its relationships with UK stakeholders and contribute its proven battery technology to the region’s energy transition.
