Addressing Key Infrastructure Challenges in the AI Era: Offering 5X the Power, 10% Energy Consumption, a 10-Year Lifespan, and Easy Hyperscale Integration

TAIPEI, Taiwan, April 30, 2025 — XING Mobility, a leading Taiwanese innovator in immersion-cooled battery technology, has introduced the BBx48 System, a groundbreaking plug-and-play, immersion-cooled backup battery unit (BBU) designed to overcome the limitations of traditional power systems in the age of AI.

The increasing use of GPUs and AI workloads is creating unprecedented challenges for data centers. Training AI models requires significantly more power and density, which generates a lot of heat that traditional BBU systems can’t handle. This results in lower battery efficiency, shorter lifecycles, and reduced reliability, which can put critical operations at risk.
