Advancing the Frontiers of AI Mobility
One year after achieving full-stack mass production of its AI system, XPENG introduced the XPENG World Foundation Model, a next-generation “AI Brain.” This innovative architecture significantly advances automotive intelligence, boasting 35 times more parameters than conventional Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models. The system’s self-optimizing capabilities allow real-time adaptation to new driving scenarios, applicable to AI-defined vehicles, robotics, and flying cars.
5C Ultra-Fast Charging Redefines EV Convenience
The XPENG P7+, the world’s first AI-defined car, was a focal point. He Xiaopeng introduced the new Super Long Range Max Flagship Edition, which includes XPENG’s innovative 5C Supercharging AI Battery technology. This provides an industry-leading 420km range with just 10 minutes of charging, while achieving exceptional energy efficiency at 12.7kWh per 100km.
2025 XPENG X9 Begins Global Delivery
Following its Hong Kong launch on April 15, XPENG has initiated global deliveries of the updated 2025 X9 MPV. This model features 496 enhancements, including industry-first walk-through zero-gravity seats and standard high-level autonomous driving features worldwide. The X9 received over 6,000 firm orders within a week of its release, setting a new benchmark for pure electric MPVs.
XPENG delivered 94,008 vehicles in the first quarter of 2025, with international shipments rising 370% year-over-year to 7,615 units. The company is maintaining its lead in China’s smart EV market and accelerating its global expansion, having delivered over 700,000 vehicles to date.
IRON Humanoid Robot Captures Global Attention
The XPENG booth was a popular destination, showcasing XPENG IRON humanoid robots. Standing 178cm tall with 22 degrees of freedom in its hands, IRON demonstrated impressive human-like abilities, including natural conversation powered by XPENG’s smart cockpit AI, fluid movements, and precise object handling. This in-house developed robotics platform highlights XPENG’s expanding technological capabilities beyond automotive applications.
