xSuite eDNA, the cloud-based e-invoicing platform, now supports sending and receiving electronic invoices directly from SAP.

Ahrensburg, Germany, June 17, 2025 – With mandatory e-invoicing on the horizon in countries like Germany, Poland, and France, xSuite Group has released an extension for its xSuite eDNA (electronic Document Network Adapter) product to assist SAP users. The update allows for the creation and transmission of outbound invoices in EN 16931-compliant XML formats from SAP SD. The cloud platform handles numerous e-invoicing formats, acting as a central hub connecting SAP to the global e-invoicing landscape and working seamlessly with both SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.

Since June 2024, xSuite eDNA has facilitated the receipt of various e-invoice formats via the Peppol network, directly transferring invoice data into the customer’s SAP system for streamlined inbound invoice processing.

The platform now also enables the creation and delivery of e-invoices directly from SAP. This is achieved via an xSuite add-on (transport) installed in the SAP SD module. This add-on uses SAP’s message control functionality. When an invoice is created in SAP, the pertinent data is captured and sent to the cloud-based xSuite eDNA platform. The platform validates the data against EN 16931 standards, checking data integrity, mandatory fields, data types, and business rules. Format conversion and all subsequent processing are performed in the cloud. Updates and enhancements, such as new e-invoice formats, are implemented centrally and immediately available to all users, minimizing maintenance efforts and maximizing flexibility.

xSuite eDNA provides two transmission methods: email in formats like BIS Billing, ZUGFeRD, and XRechnung (with more formats planned), and the Peppol network. The range of supported countries and portals is constantly growing with strategic intent. Current networks and formats include:

• SdI – Sistema di Interscambio / Fattura PA (Italy)
• ANAF – Agenția Națională de Administrare Fiscală / RO e-Factura (Romania)
• NAV – Nemzeti Adó- és Vámhivatal (Hungary)
