IDF Confirms Yemen Strikes on Houthi Military Sites
According to the Israeli military, a series of airstrikes on Thursday targeted Sana’a International Airport and other sites in the Houthi-controlled Yemeni capital.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the strikes focused on military infrastructure utilized by the Houthis for terrorist activities.
“The Houthi terrorist regime has repeatedly attacked Israel and its citizens, employing UAVs and surface-to-surface missiles,” the IDF declared in an official statement.
“IDF strikes targeted military infrastructure used by the Houthi terrorist regime at Sana’a International Airport, and the Hezyaz and Ras Kanatib power stations. Additionally, military infrastructure in the Al-Hudaydah, Salif, and Ras Kanatib ports on the western coast was also targeted,” the statement continued.
These strikes follow recent missile attacks on Israel from Yemen, prompting a vow of retaliation from Israel’s defense minister.
This is a developing story. Further updates will follow.
