Reports indicate that Boris Johnson encountered an unexpected adversary during a family visit to a Texas safari park.

Accustomed to verbal sparring with journalists and political rivals, Johnson faced a different type of attack from an imposing ostrich, standing seven feet tall and equipped with four-inch claws.

Carrie Johnson shared an Instagram video of the incident, showing the former Prime Minister in a vehicle with his family.

The video depicts Johnson extending his hand from the car, seemingly beckoning the ostrich as one of his children leans towards the window. The ostrich then reaches into the car and appears to bite Johnson, possibly on the hand.

“Christ!” exclaimed the former Conservative Party leader. “Oh, f****** hell!”

Laughter from Johnson’s children can be heard in the background.

The video appears to have amused viewers.
