Singapore’s Christmas Wonderland Showcases 100,000 Italian-Made Light Bulbs
Singapore’s annual Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay celebrates its 11th year with spectacular light installations.
Among the many dazzling displays, the Spalliera light installation is particularly impressive, extending 20 meters (over 65 feet) into the sky.
Inspired by Italy’s Orvieto Cathedral, this year’s Spalliera features a new design illuminated by 103,000 handcrafted bulbs, created by artisans in Puglia, Italy.
Visitors can enjoy the Spalliera display alongside “Blizzard Time,” an artificial snowfall experience, accompanied by original music composed by Singaporean composer Dr. Darius Lim.
Christmas Wonderland also offers a 50-meter-long illuminated tunnel, other picturesque light displays (including a giant ice skate, ornaments, and gift boxes), photos with Santa, carnival rides, games, dining options, and live performances.
The event runs until January 1, 2025.
