FORMER Department of Education (DepEd) in Western Visayas Information Officer Dr. Lea Belleza was designated as Schools Division Superintendent of Kabankalan City.

Belleza replaced Dr. Portia Mallorca, who was assigned to head the newly created Victorias City Schools Division.

DepEd-Western Visayas Director Ramir Uyico led the installation rites for Belleza last week.

Belleza was also a former education program supervisor under the Quality Assurance Division for over five years.

“I may have plans of my own, but it is always God’s will that shall prevail,” she said upon assumption of her new post.

She said she would always take with her the decency, pride and good ideals she has ingrained in her new workplace.
