Emerging Mobility Brand Convoy Reveals Its Exhibition Debut at Everything Electric London 2025

British micromobility startup CONVOY’s flagship product is the C01: an e-trailer that converts any bicycle into an electric cargo bike, packed with leading-edge technology and performance features. Waitlists for upcoming pre-orders are now open.
London, United Kingdom Feb 7, 2026 – This family-focused mobility brand is celebrating its exhibition debut at Everything Electric— the world’s premier home energy and electric vehicle show— held at London ExCel from April 16th to 18th. Positioned strategically at the entrance of the Micro Mobility Test Track in stand T2, the newcomer is shining a light on an entirely new product category: the bike e-trailer, designed to revolutionize both cargo bike and traditional bike trailer markets.
CONVOY’s first offering, the C.01, is the world’s safest and smartest e-trailer, enhancing your bike for school runs, shopping trips, and adventures. Fun, fast, and eco-friendly, CONVOY’s e-trailer stands out from cargo bikes as lightweight, easy to ride, simple to store, and priced at just 25% of a premium cargo bike.
Backed by industry experts like Nick Wilkinson (CEO of Dunelm, ex-CEO of Evans Cycles) and serial entrepreneur Alex Asseily (Jawbone, Zulu Ecosystems, Dance), CONVOY is the first end-to-end family-focused mobility business with a mission to simplify urban family travel while replacing 1 billion short car journeys.
Your bike but better, way better
The C01’s key unique selling point is its ability to turn any pedal bike into an electric cargo bike using a modular e-trailer that attaches in seconds— no tools needed— letting riders transform their bikes into a utility electric vehicle. Featuring a patent-pending three-point locking system and two sensors, CONVOY’s C.01 follows your bike via wireless active steering, creating a smooth, agile ride that’s drastically different from using a traditional trailer.
Weighing 13 kg, the C.01 assembles with one hand and three simple clicks. It comes with a 250-watt motor offering a 30km range and 25km/h speed, and connects to its own mobile app. Riders can set profile preferences, turn on rear lights, check battery levels, and adjust riding assistance features directly from the app.
Boasting top-tier components, CONVOY’s C.01 meets the highest international safety standards. As a smart product, it can be charged with any USB-C cable and supports wireless future updates.
Co-founder a TIME’s Best Inventor
Co-founder and CEO Jon O’Toole— who will be present at CONVOY’s stand T2 at Everything Electric London— launched the company with co-founder Josh Richards in January 2024. Before CONVOY, the award-winning product designer made his mark as a founding member of femtech brand Elvie (serving as Chief Product and Operations Officer) and previously worked at Dyson. His achievements include being an MIT Innovator Under 35, holding over 50 product awards (including Red Dot Design Awards), and having two inventions featured in TIME Magazine’s ‘100 Best Inventions’ list.
O’Toole loves how seamlessly CONVOY fits into daily life: “My car just gathers dust now— I’m saving money, cutting my impact, and having way more fun. Riding with e-power feels like a secret superpower and skipping traffic while hauling my weekly shop is pure joy. I want more people to experience that.”
Co-founder Josh Richards is the Creative Director. Previously, he was a design manager at Shark Ninja leading new category innovations, and has experience developing and licensing IP to renowned brands like Joseph Joseph and Fulling Mill. An avid cyclist and father of two, Richards personally faced the struggle of keeping his cycling passion alive while commuting and doing school runs with young kids— prompting him to use his product design expertise and cross-industry tech knowledge to create the ultimate solution for busy urban families wanting fast, easy, guilt-free transport.
Speaking about co-founding CONVOY, Richards said: “In design, there’s a saying: people want the hole, not the drill. That’s the magic of CONVOY— it delivers cargo capacity without the compromises of living with a full-size cargo bike. I already had bikes I loved to ride, but as a new dad, most of my riding involved nursery drop offs, parcel returns, and food shopping— tasks my bikes just weren’t set up for. With CONVOY, I get to ride the bike I love, breeze through daily errands, and enjoy the extra boost of electric assist.”
