With a distinguished 38-year career in the UK Armed Forces, including his tenure as UK Chief of Joint Operations, Stickland brings unmatched strategic leadership and operational expertise to support Aeromed’s ongoing growth and innovation.

Stickland’s career features transformational leadership across multi-domain military operations — spanning Sea, Land, Air, Space, and Cyber — driving critical defense initiatives with worldwide impact. His role in overseeing all UK global military missions, reporting directly to the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Defense, demonstrates his extensive experience in managing complex operations and promoting international collaboration.

Notably, he led the UK’s strategic support to Ukraine, shaped the UK’s operational approach to NATO, and advanced UK engagement in the Indo-Pacific region. He also spearheaded the pioneering digital transformation of the UK’s Permanent Joint Headquarters, emphasizing technology, innovation, and data-driven agility — capabilities that align with Aeromed’s commitment to utilizing cutting-edge solutions in aerospace and defense supply chain management.

Beyond his military career, Stickland is a respected advisor on defense, geopolitics, and the application of technology in the commercial sector.
