(SeaPRwire) –   In collaboration with data company Statista, TIME initiated the first-ever ranking of the “World’s Growth Leaders 2026” to identify the top publicly listed companies globally.

Methodology

The evaluation is based on three core criteria:

• Growth Performance

• Financial Stability

• Stock Performance

The first criterion, Growth Performance, was assessed using data from Statista’s revenue database, which includes company growth information for the past five years. To qualify for the assessment, companies had to be publicly listed and show robust revenue growth over the last five years. Both relative growth and the number of years with growth were factored into the evaluation.

The second criterion, Financial Stability, was examined by analyzing company profitability and established metrics such as the Piotroski F-Score and Altman Z-Score, which indicate a company’s overall financial health and the likelihood of bankruptcy. Industry-specific KPIs were used to assess the financial stability of companies in the banking, insurance, and REIT sectors.

The third criterion, Stock Performance, was evaluated using multiple KPIs that highlight the companies’ investment strengths. The analysis considered the average annual growth rate, recent returns, comparison to the overall market, and stock volatility over the past five years.

After data collection and evaluation, the results were consolidated and weighted within a scoring model. The scores from all three criteria were combined equally to form a final score out of 100 points. The top 1,000 companies with the highest scores were recognized as “World’s Growth Leaders 2026” by TIME and Statista.
