Erick Su, head of ArenaPlus—DigiPlus’ premium sports betting platform—emphasizes that gambling operators bear the responsibility of promoting safe and responsible gaming practices in compliance with PAGCOR regulations. He noted the company is working to enhance player protection measures and introduce new tools that let users set betting limits and opt for self-exclusion.
Su also mentioned the company is developing tools to detect potential problem gambling behaviors through activity analysis.
To expand industry-wide efforts, DigiPlus is partnering with regulators and stakeholders on activities for Responsible Gaming Month scheduled in August. Their aim is to raise greater awareness about player accountability and the risks associated with excessive gaming.
The company points out that its strategy includes protective safeguards, educational initiatives, and collaboration between regulatory bodies and the iGaming industry.
DigiPlus announced the appointment of Ping Chen as its new president. Chen succeeds Andy Tsui, who served as president for four years.
