AN ESTIMATED P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu was seized in a drug bust operation by operatives of City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) in Purok Katilingban, Barangay Banago, Bacolod City around early Thursday morning, April 28, 2022.The operation also led to the arrest of Sandy Romero, 25; Sunny Boy Guino-ohan, 47; and Rudy Talabon, 56, all residents of the said place.Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) records showed that the suspects were arrested after one of them sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer.Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 12 heat-sealed and five knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing suspected shabu weighing about 500 grams, the P5,000 marked money, a hand bag and coin purse.The police said Romero was identified as a high-value individual in Bacolod City, while Guino-ohan and Talabon were identified as street-level individuals.They were under surveillance for almost a month before their arrest, the police added.The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 3.They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
