THE Choco Mucho Flying Titans moved closer to bagging third place honors in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference as they outlasted the Cignal HD Spikers, 25-17, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, on April 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.In an exciting matchup that saw neither team give an inch to the other in every set, it was Choco Mucho that got the final say with Des Cheng scoring to give the Flying Titans match point at 24-22. Ponggay Gaston then ended the match in Choco Mucho’s favor with a hit.Kat Tolentino led the ladies in white and purple with 23 points while Bea De Leon added 11. Cheng finished with 10.Cebuana standout Deanna Wong also put on display her awesome floor game with 30 excellent sets and 26 digs.Choco Mucho will look to bag the bronze medal in Game Two on April 8 at 3 p.m.
