Election paraphernalia delivered in Bacolod polling centers

VARIOUS election paraphernalia consisting of Vote Counting Machines (VCMs), batteries and ballot boxes were delivered to 45 polling centers in Bacolod City yesterday, May 6.No less than Bacolod City Police Office Director Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir led the transport and delivery of Election Materials and Paraphernalia from the logistics hub.The city policemen who will man the various police precincts have been sent off already and were reminded to fully implement the full force of the law, Martir said in a statement.Martir said that the policemen were also reminded to protect the integrity of the elections as well as the safety of the community and the voting public.The BCPO City Election Monitoring Action Center (Cemac) religiously monitors election-related incidents and will be addressed accordingly as soon as received, he said.Police Assistance Desks will also be put-up outside the polling centers for election-related complaints and concerns, Martir also said, adding that they will closely coordinate with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and other law-enforcement agencies for updates and information related to the conduct elections.Meanwhile, the BCPO also encouraged the public to be extra watchful and report any suspicious activities in their respective area.*
