Lacson vows to continue responsive gov’t

NEGROS Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson has assured Negrenses that the provincial government will always be responsive to their needs as he continues his second term.While Lacson has yet to mention the specific programs he has lined up for another three years of his term as provincial chief executive during his inaugural address next month, Lacson said, “I will continue to give even more time for service to Negros Occidental.”Lacson’s inauguration will be on June 25, 2022.He also expects that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan will continue to be cooperative.Although belonging to rival local political groups, Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer ran as partners during the recently-concluded May 9 elections, which they also did in 2019 polls.”I feel, working as a team, is an ingredient to a successful second term,” the governor said.
