THE Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Noccpo) has been recognized as the top one police office in Western Visayas based on the evaluation conducted by the Police Regional Office (PRO)-6.Noccpo received a 94.43 percent rating for its Unit Performance Evaluation Rating for the month of March.Bago City and Valladolid Municipal Police Stations were also recognized for their outstanding performance in the province-wide unit performance.Noccpo spokesperson Lieutenant Abegael Donasco said the Bago City Police Station led by Lieutenant Colonel Joem Malong received a 92.49 percent rating for city level, while the Valladolid Municipal Police Station led by Major Wilfredo Benoman received an 88.44 percent rating in the municipal level.The two stations also exhibited a good performance in their anti-illegal drugs and anti-crime programs, as well as top performers in arresting wanted individuals.In connection with the top performance exhibited by the police units of Nocppo, its acting provincial director Colonel Leo Pamittan congratulated the provincial police force and the two police stations.He hopes that the awards given to police stations in Bago and Valladolid will also inspire other police units in the province to perform better.*
