AN ESTIMATED P47, 600 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate drug bust by operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) in the city on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.The operations also led to the arrest of Ernie Lemorin, 30, Purok Tanguigi, Barangay 1; and Ariston Marfa, 43, of Purok Tinagong Paraiso, Zone 3, Barangay Banago, all in Bacolod City.BCPO records showed that Lemorin was arrested by operatives of Police Station 2 after he sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer at Purok Masinadyahon, Barangay 12, around 6:55 p.m.Police recovered from Lemorin’s possession five sachets of suspected shabu weighing four grams with estimated market value of P27, 200 and the P200 marked money.Marfa, meanwhile, also arrested by operatives of Police Station 3 at Purok Tinagong Paraiso, Zone 3, Barangay Banago around 5:40 p.m.Police recovered from Marfa’s possession eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing three grams with estimated market value of P20, 400, the P200 marked money and coin purse.The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Stations 2 and 3.They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
