Giusy Buonfantino Secures Majority Ownership of Dyper™

Scottsdale, Arizona Apr 23, 2026 – Giusy Buonfantino, a veteran executive in the consumer packaged goods industry with over 25 years of leadership experience, has finalized a management buyout of Dyper, assuming the roles of CEO and Majority Owner. This acquisition is a significant milestone in advancing the brand’s goal: providing high-quality baby diapers without unnecessary plastics—prioritizing both infant skin health and the environment.
Under Buonfantino’s guidance, Dyper will concentrate on scaling innovation, growing its exclusive ReDyper composting initiative, and increasing market expansion among U.S. parents looking for premium, plant-derived baby care options.
Standard diapers often consist of up to 75% plastic, including the surface layer in direct contact with a baby’s skin. Many of these products can remain in landfills for as long as 500 years. Dyper was established to challenge this industry standard.
Dyper diapers:
- Feature a liner with zero plastic touching the baby’s skin
- Consist of 55% USDA-certified biobased materials (ASTM D6866), which is more than double the amount found in many top competitors
- Provide industry-leading absorbency
- Are endorsed by dermatologists and certified with the Dermatest 5-star seal
- Are eligible for composting through the brand’s ReDyper service
“Many parents don’t realize they might be wrapping their infants in plastic 24/7 for more than three years,” stated Buonfantino, who initially joined the organization as a Board Member before becoming CEO in 2024. “Dyper demonstrates that parents do not have to choose between performance and eco-friendliness. We are building a brand that prioritizes baby skin health while actively working to reduce plastic waste.”
With the 2026 management buyout finalized, Dyper is now prepared for rapid growth across the country.
