THE Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) is bracing for mass Covid-19 vaccination.

Police Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, Nocppo spokesperson, said Tuesday, February 2, that they are also busy preparing to make their police stations in the province as vaccination centers.

She said preparations are still ongoing and that they are currently conducting an inventory of the personnel and equipment that would be needed for vaccination.

Donasco also said they are currently identifying police officers, who are also registered nurses.

He said that overall, the police stations in the province can be used as vaccination centers.

Previously, President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the Philippine National Police to prepare the police stations nationwide for mass vaccination.

Aside from police stations, several schools, universities, and parish churches have also offered to use their facilities to the government in order to vaccinate the populace.
