Nocppo holds medical services caravan, outreach program

THE Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) held the Caravan of Medical Services and Outreach Program dubbed as “Duterte Legacy” in Purok Sagrado 1, Barangay 16, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on April 24, 2022.Nocppo Acting Provincial Director Colonel Leo Pamittan led the activity together with the personnel of Talisay City Police Station headed by Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Baybayan.Other participants were personnel of First Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, Talisay City Government, Barangay 16 Council, different government agencies like the Department of the Interior Local Government (DILG), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Force Multipliers, and other advocacy support groups.The activity was themed “Pagkakaisa ng Mamamayan at Pamahalaan tungo sa Pagbangon, Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran.”The Nocppo partnered with the ICare Partners Supporters and Volunteers (PVS) Organization led by its chairman, Zephania Andrada.Some 100 households availed the free medical consultation, haircut, medicines and supplements, new shoes for kids and grocery items.A feeding program was also held as part of the activity.Pamittan thanked all who participated in the activity, saying that “I attribute this success to the active involvement of our stakeholders and their genuine gesture to help our brothers and sisters in need.”
